My New Website

I've decided to make a general recipe website. I have added more recipes and will continue to do so as I find really delicious additions to my favorites. I especially desire to share this with family, so please enjoy and add comments and email me recipes that I can add to the website for all to see.
Thanks.

Quick and Easy Quiche Crust Recipe

                Delicious  Homemade Quiche Crust
    • 1 cup flour (I use 1/2 c. rye and 1/2 c. wheat)
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • 1/4 cup ice water (I use refrigerated water)

Mix flour and salt with fork.

Beat oil and water with whisk or fork to thicken.

Pour into flour and mix with fork.

Roll out dough
Press into 9" pie crust.

Fill with quiche mixture and bake at 400F until done.

NOTES:

You can double the recipe, divide dough in half, and roll out into a pair of rounds for two-crust pies. You can also try doubling or doubling and a half it if you want to make a chicken pot pie. I've never tried that, but I think it might work.

This recipe is not suitable for baked pie crust shells.
